施設概要 / Facility Overview
1695年(元禄8年)、柳河藩が水害を防ぐために植えた楠(くすのき)の林です。昭和49年に「新船小屋のクスノキ林」として国の天然記念物に指定されました。森林浴や散策に最適です。

It is a camphor tree forest planted by the Yanagawa clan in 1695 (Genroku 8) to prevent flooding.It was designated as a national natural monument known as ‘The Camphor Tree Forest of New Funagoya’ in 1974.It is ideal for forest bathing and leisurely walks.
